Eggless Chocolate Cupcakes – Decadent Sinful Eats here!

Oh my God! Are they decadent, soft, luscious and downright sinfully yummy! I should be jailed for making them, these can tempt an ascetic! I think topped with rich whipped cream… I am lost for words now!

Here’s my recipe

  • 50g plain flour (maida)
  • 1/4th tsp + 1 pinch baking powder
  • 1/4th tsp + 1 pinch baking soda
  • 1/4th tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g condensed milk (that’s about 1/4th of the tin)
  • 50 ml coca cola (thats about 3/4th tea cup)

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C and line six muffin cups with liners.

Beat together condensed milk, sugar, and butter together till they are soft and peaky.

Mix the dry ingredients separately.

Sieve one third of the dry ingredients into the batter. Add one half of the cola and fold gently into the batter. Keep doing this alternately, with the last addition being the dry ingredients.

Do not overmix. Very gently fold all the ingredients together.

Fill the muffin liners till they are 3/4th filled with the batter. Place in the oven and close the door gently. Do not slam the oven door, ever!

Bake for about 10 to 15 mins or till a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cupcake emerges only slightly damp. Do not wait till the toothpick comes out dry or you will have a dry cupcake.

Allow them to cool on a wire rack and serve with rich whipped cream!
