Y – Fabric Yo-Yos (A to Z Blogging Challenge)

These were so simple to make. I didn’t need the sewing machine at all. Just a few pieces of fabric, some colorful buttons, and a needle and a thread and you are done!

Here’s a video tutorial for the yo-yos.

Aren’t they fun? I can think of a million ways to use these yo-yos.

  • Colorful headbands for the kids
  • Broaches
  • Clips
  • Jazzing up an old dress
  • Belts
  • Jeans
  • Pillow covers

These are just some ideas where you can use these.

This is what I did with mine. I cut up an old denim jeans of Saee to up cycle it for Sayalee.

With the cut up pieces, I made these yo-yos and attached them back to the resized jeans.
