It seems only yesterday. Months after months of conceiving and developing this baby in my mind, I had finally given my blog, my baby to the world. My third baby so to speak. And like my other two babies, I am super proud of this baby as well.
Let me give you a flashback about what happened in MB this last year.
This turned out to be my best post:——>
How do you know you married an Indori?
Indoris from all around the world read and loved my post 🙂 Including the most Indori of them all, Rajiv Nema, the man behind the Indori Youtube Videos. 🙂
Also on a similar line, this also turned out to be a rather loved post—->
How do you know you married a Scorpio man?
All said and done, I love my Scorpio man to bits, even though he drives me crazy sometimes. Most times.
All the time 😛
Dadima ke Nuskhe seems to be the most popular post even now!
Grandmas really DO know the best, don’t they? I mean for all my hoopla about creativity and such, it was after all a post guided by my MIL that has worked the most 🙂
And of course, this post for newbie bakers in Mumbai——–>
Baking and Chocolate making supplies in Mumbai
During this one year, my older daughter turned five years old:
And my younger daughter went from this—->
to this—–>
and then this——>
Magical, I tell you!
I made some special friends 🙂
Swapna Thomas, you are the best thing that happened to me after Mind Brew 🙂 Cheers!!!
Poornima and Sfurti, you rock girls!!! I love you guys!
Vishal Bheeroo, you are the brother I needed 🙂
Corinne Rodrigues, you took my blog to another level 🙂
Pratibha Pal, you are my newest friend 🙂
MB inspired a blogger 😉 My sister-in-law and friend, Purvee, who is doing amazing work on her blog My Little Diaree 🙂
I got several awards from fellow bloggers:
Two of my posts got the best post nominations from BlogAdda:
for Resurrection
for The New Age Kid
and then an award for a contest on Indiblogger;)
Then came April and a crazy blogging challenge, and a crazier theme I picked for the challenge!
Which I completed, to my amazement!!!
It was a cathartic experience I tell you, 32 posts in 30 days, 26 out of which were DIY, 24 of which I totally made from scratch. I know I am tooting my horn here, but guys seriously! I’m happy, so forgive me!
So one year, 386 posts, 60K+ footprints, and 325 followers later, I am set to begin another exciting year on MB.
What do I hope to achieve in her second year? Well, like a baby, her first year was all about learning and assimilation. Now begin the toddler years, the terrible twos!
My goals for my baby’s second year:
-
To host a giveaway
-
To invite more people for more exciting interviews
-
To interview some awesome bloggers
-
To make more friends 🙂
-
To win a few contests, teeny tiny ones at least 😛
-
To finally write and publish my first ebook 🙂
-
To make my little MB independent. Which means, to have http://www.mind-brew.com (*daydreaming already!!!)
Here’s to another exciting year for my third baby girl!!! Happy Birthday, MB!!!
